What’s the best air purifier or cleaner for removing cigarette smoke?
My apartment gets a lot of cigarette smoke from a neighbor. What air purifiers or air cleaners have you used that have been most effective in removing cigarette smoke in particular?

First step is to tell your neighbor you’ll bash there head in if they keep filling your apt with smoke. Aside from that, I use 3 holmes full room filters with the ionizing option that works really well

Im moving into a new apartment. Not sure if i can smoke or not. was looking into buying one of these. do they work good? do they work at all?

Never met an air purifier that could remove cigarette smell but maybe yes it would reduce it some. Problem is that youll probably spend a ton replacing filters. The best thing – go to WalMart and in the candle section they have a white candle in a fat (maybe 4″ in diameter) short (maybe 4″ tall) jar called “smokers candle” (the smaller jar ones just dont seem to work as well). You can use that but really, if you ever want to get your deposit back, just smoke outside.
